Milestone
7 months & 19 days after being born, Alec busted out his first crawl.
Technically he's been crawling for a week, but only in reverse. Yesterday he figured out how to get to what he wants by making a beeline for it on his shiny new wheels.

Cherish it, buddy. In a month he'll be walking and life as you know it will be over.
Madeline has graduated from stumbling on two feet to trotting around the house, all within the span of a week.

That is awesome :) My son is still stuck in reverse. hehe.
I bet the crawling will keep you busy enough....then the walking starts.

:D I know he'll keep us on our toes. I'm not over it yet, though. Still too early (he hasn't broken anything or given us a shot of fear-adrenaline by making for the fill-in-the-blank yet.)
He looks so cool motoring from one place to another and, even though I know it's natural, I'm really proud of his progress.

I've got four words for you: Kick Ass In Iraq. Now it's onto walking. You should get one of the those baby walkers that look like walkers for old people but they're for a baby. We have one if you need it.

Thanks, Brad. I'd like to borrow it. He's already using furniture to pull himself into a stand. He also uses my leg hairs when handy.
